Ph.D., Harvard University. Special fields: Franco-Flemish polyphony of the 15th century (especially Ockeghem, Josquin, and their contemporaries); music in Renaissance Rome; performance of medieval and Renaissance music; musical notation; Jewish music. Director of the Josquin Research Project, a digital tool for accessing and analyzing music from ca. 1420 to ca. 1520 (jrp.ccarh.org).

Monographs: Josquin’s Rome: Hearing and Composing in the Sistine Chapel (Oxford University Press, 2012); Giving Form to Fifteenth-Century Music (under contract with Cambridge University Press). Co-editor, with Anna Maria Busse Berger, of the Cambridge History of Fifteenth-Century Music (Cambridge University Press, forthcoming 2014). Editor of Josquin’s L’homme armé masses for the New Josquin Edition (vol. 6, forthcoming 2014).
